Free Plastic

Initiative for Free of Plastic bags and single use plastics.

The project was launched precisely with a campaign to eliminate the use of plastic bags in supermarkets and other businesses; cloth and reusable bags were available, so that people could acquire them, both during the event and later in different local businesses. During the first years, we participated in different fairs, where attendees could buy Turrialba Sustainable bags, and at the same time, the organization was being promoted to the local community.
